The Love of Jesus

Does Jesus love you?  Absolutely!  He loves you so much that he actually gave up his life for you.  We believe that Jesus’ love for all people is what compelled Him to suffer and die to pay the price for their sins.  John 3:16 says, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”  It is His love that has saved us and that compels us to express love to others.  We are not so much concerned about getting you to our church as we are about showing you the love of Jesus Christ and giving you a reason to listen to what He has to say.

Jesus Christ unconditionally loves you whether or not you ever choose to love him, but the greatest thing in life is knowing that you are in relationship with the God of the universe.  Life is so much better when lived in a relationship with Jesus.  Below you will read some basic information about how you can have a relationship with Jesus and start your life new with him.

1.  First you must acknowledge that you do not have a relationship with Him and that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

2. Understand that you deserve death for your sin.
Romans 6:23a "...The wages of sin is death..."

3. Salvation is a free gift from God to you! You can't earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.  Call out to Jesus and ask Him to forgive you and save you.
Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!"
Romans 6:23b "...But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

4. When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's penalty. He did this because He loves you and gave Himself for you!  God's love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have true forgiveness and life change.   His love bought you out of being a slave to sin.   His love is what saves you--not religion, or church membership.  God loves you, so give your life to God!
Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"

Jesus said, Revelation 3:20a "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..." Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door?

Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

If you know that God is knocking on your heart's door, ask Him to come into your heart.

If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior, you need to tell somebody. We would love to here from you and know what God has done in your life, and we would also like to help you in your new journey of being a Christian.

You also need to find a church family where you can join with other believers in a community of faith that comes together to experience God in times of corporate worship, connects with each other in learning and growing in their faith, and commits to serve others as an outflow of the love of God that lives within them.
